Applications are invited on prescribed format for the following assignment in a purely time bound research project undertaken in the Department of Electrical Engineering of the Institute.

1. Name of the Temporary Post : Senior Research Fellow –(One)



2. Name of the Research Project : “Development of Grid Integration Strategies for Photovoltaic System”



3. Name of the Sponsoring Agency : DST – SERI



4. Tenure of the Project : 09.11.2015 to 08.11.2018



5. Tenure of the Assignment : Three years



6. Job Description : (i) Development of experimental Facilities for PV Power System. (ii) Development of grid synchronization algorithms for PV system.



7. Consolidated monthly compensation / Fellowship : Rs.28000/- p.m.(1st year) Rs.28000/- p.m.(2nd year) Rs.28000/-p.m. (3rd year)



8. Essential Qualifications and experience : ME/M.Tech in Electrical or Electronics Engg. With specialization in Power Electronics/Control/Power System/Industrial Electronics. Desirable Qualifications/ Experiences :
