Key Accountabilities



Strategic:

1. Framing of Advertising and PR strategy.

2. Networking with the top management for viable media strategy.

3. Handling appropriate media selection for generating awareness and crisis management.

4. Collecting information on product performance, market presence and brand position.

5. Evaluating new communication from time to time and effectively adopting the same.

6. Mapping the movement of competitors and industry counterparts and accordingly fine-tuning communication plans.

7. Conceptualise innovations for Investor Awareness and Education using existing and new media platforms.



Operational:

8. Dealing with the advertising agency for development of product literature and providing creative inputs.

9. Writing copy / script / content for collaterals, films, advertisements etc.

10. Negotiating and ensuring brand visibility at Industry events.

11. Supporting the business team in their initiatives for member relationship management and new membership drive.

12. Negotiating and Media buying – electronic media, online media, print magazines, radio, hoardings etc.

13. Sourcing and managing outsourced creative partners for designing of ads, brochures, etc on a project basis

14. Working with the PR agency for their support in facilitating media interactions.

15. Interacting with various departments for ensuring flow of information.

16. Ensuring quality control on language for all material – brochures, films, other publications etc.

17. Prepare and getting internal approval for media releases in English, supervising translations in regional languages and disseminating the same.

18. Planning, organizing and managing events such as Industry events or seminars, product specific seminars, events with media partners, special educational and awareness programs for the Press

19. Preparing Product films and Corporate films based on requirement.

20. Supporting JAPs and product awareness programs conducted by the business team

21. Planning and conducting Press conferences

22. Ensuring daily update of information to the Press in English and Hindi.

23. Updating the website with news, investor awareness initiatives,

24. Supervising and managing the team to ensure all deliverables are of high quality and delivered on time.



Candidate Profile



Educational Qualification

Postgraduate in management in Marketing/ Post Graduate in Mass Communications from a reputed institute.

10+ years of experience in similar role



Competencies (Behavioural Skills) required

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Good Planning and Organisational skills

Pro-active and result oriented

Hindi skills, English skills language skills



Nature of Interaction

Providing all support in dealing with media, PR agency, events, etc

Printing of marketing collateral 

Feedback or joint events

Product films 

Ensuring coverage

Briefing on requirements for articles, brochures, other marketing collateral

Getting support for events, functions

Making Product Films / Promos for TV/Radio 

Ensuring coverage and keeping updated with daily information bulletin 



  • Managing all marketing expenses within the budgets Renewing contracts with the printing vendors, PR agencies, creative consultants, with appropriate approvals


  • Decision on where to give material for Printing Initial screening of external agencies and recommendations with decision makers
