Job Description

QA Tester

Digital Intelligence Systems (DISYS) has an opening for a QA Tester. We are looking for a QA Tester that has experience in retail e-commerce or supply chain.

QA Tester

Description:

• Develop QA test plans/test cases and perform manual/automated testing for small to medium projects and support medium to large complex QA projects with minimal direction/supervision.


• Manage QA test reporting, analysis, defect resolution, and generating/reporting metrics.


• Participate in requirements reviews with the business and various other project team members.


• Evaluate and recommend options for meeting business needs/ requirements.


• Interpret and analyze detailed design documents; outline gaps and/or issues, ensuring coverage of business requirements.


• Ensure that business requirements are identified, prioritized and incorporated in software releases.


• Participate in QA Test Plan and Test Case Reviews and compile feedback to improve the quality of software deliverables.


• Pull and/or build necessary test data to support efforts, coordinating with internal and external IT/business partners.


• Test and support change control processes during release.


• Troubleshoot any issues that arise during development or after release.


• Participate in the promotion of best practices within the organization in collaboration with other analysts and IT personnel.


• Coordinate/Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).


• Perform additional tasks as required, sometimes outside of regular business hours.
