Job Description:


Key tasks and responsibilities include:


• Director level Delivery Management, Project Management, Time Management, Transformation experience, Operations Management, Risk Management, Prioritization, Conflict Resolution, Stakeholder management, with strong experience in Negotiating, Escalating and managing senior stakeholders at all levels.


•Accountable for the delivery of high quality service & support for Production and Interfacing with Business aligned IT streams within Group Technology


• Oversight to day to day Operations & Support, liaising with Development, Infrastructure, and Production Application Support teams at all levels.


• Manage aligned support staff and Vendor Aligned Support teams, to ensure the day to day support requirements are delivered to a consistently high level.


• End to end operational focus – Application, Infrastructure Support, Operational Costs & Productivity, Utilization, Quality, Incident, and Problem & Service Level Management. Drive continuous service improvement within the team.


• Contribution toward, and attendance at, key service & relationship review meetings.


 


KEY SKILLS:


1. A minimum of 8-10 years director level experience in the banking environment, dealing with Senior IT Stakeholders, being accountable for the Managed Service vendor or managing internal teams and operating in a Global team environment.


2. Prior hands-on experience in IT field is required, such as a developer, project manager, Business Analyst or Infrastructure specialist, in order to make effective executive decisions for the department.


3. Demonstrable experience in strong operational governance and delivering a quality operational service to customers


4. Director level ITIL implementation experience


5. Minimum Degree level applicant


6. Strong Command of the English language and /or high level of proficiency
