Job Description
Roles:
· Identifying, mitigating and managing IT operational risk.
· Conversant with developing leading indicators, metrics and data to identify areas of potential and emerging IT risk.
· Perform independent business execution against L1 Operational Risk Management processes & procedures.
· Ensure root cause analyses, reporting of operational risks and related metrics as per policy, (e.g., losses, impact on capital) to senior management
· Demonstrates flexibility to adapt to competing priorities, addressing strategic and urgent needs and frequent deliverables in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
· Carries highest level of personal and professional ethics and demonstrates exceptional personal commitment to improving the business.
Qualifications:
· 5+ years of work experience in an IT operations environment, preferable offshored or vendor managed service.
· Proficient in developing new ideas to mitigate risk and improve current processes.
· Can clearly articulate how risk technology supports unit’s business, issues due to gaps between the current technology and known business requirements.
· Ability to manage issues associated with operational risk capital, in partnership with the business and the Risk organization.
· Solution-oriented and builds consensus; strong leadership, influencing and negotiation skills.
· Analytical inquisitiveness, problem solving ability; exceptional communication skills.
