You will be responsible for our internally developed Commercial loan mortgage origination system. You will provide high quality technology solutions that address business needs by developing applications within mature technology environments. You will be working on the top priority application for the Commercial Bank.

You will work under general direction of the CeLT AD Manager. Solve complex problems requiring obscure knowledge and advanced problem solving skills. Provide input to project planning, estimating and delivering.

Responsibilities:

·         You will participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts and team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed IT solution.

·          You will participate in design reviews and provide input to the design recommendations; incorporate security requirements into design; and provide input to information/data flow, and understand and comply to Project Life Cycle Methodology in all planning steps.

·          You will also adhere to IT Control Policies throughout design, development and testing and incorporate Corporate Architectural Standards into application design specifications.

·         You will document the detailed application specifications, translate technical requirements into programmed application modules and develop/Enhance software application modules.

·          You will participate in code reviews and ensure that all solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications; identify/troubleshoot application code-related issues; and review and provide feedback to the final user documentation

·         Analyze, facilitate, model and organize information in order to elicit requirements, reconcile conflicts, and distinguish solution ideas from business needs

·         Work with test team to ensure the testing results correspond to the business expectations

·         Decompose high-level information into details and abstract up from low-level information to resolve solution vs. requirements conflicts

·         Distinguish key interactions and connectives among enterprise server-client technical solutions involving hardware, networks, security and applications

·         Assist in project planning and tracking activities

·         Assist in data discovery and analysis

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer science or equivalent with relevant experience


• Overall 8+ years of relevant Technology experience


• Minimum 8+ years recent hands-on software development work experience in large-scale distributed technology projects in a J2EE environment


• Minimum of 3+ years experience in a Technical Lead role


• Minimum 5+ years of highly technical work in large, complex enterprise environments


• Minimum of 5+ years client side development experience with Java and Spring


• Minimum of 5+ years server side development experience with J2EE and EJB’s


• Minimum of 5+ years experience with PL/SQL


• Minimum of 5+ years experience of the software development release lifecycle and source management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile)

·         Minimum of 3+ years experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)

 

Technical Skills:

·         Design, coding, testing and debugging skills

·         Experience in Java, JavaScript programming and design techniques

·         Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and enterprise systems

·         Experience with best SDLC practices: coding standards, reviews, code management, build processes, and testing

·         UI Development

·         Web Service Development

·         XML and XSL Transformation

·         Oracle

·         Maven

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Open Source technologies


• Knowledge of version and revision control practices and procedures


• Experience with the Financial Services industry


• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team

·         Regulatory and compliance back ground a plus
